Argent Data Systems





Pheonix [Hyperion] Hoop



Although Spin-FX created one of the original smart hoops, they eventually felt the weight of owning large-scale hoop production and ultimately decided their time would be better spent elsewhere. Luckily, Argent Data Systems came to the rescue and continued fixing and producing Phoenix hoops. However, over the past couple of years, they have certainly made some big changes to it.





The new Pheonix hoop features generation 3 hyperion controller and new fault-tolerant LEDs. It's no secret that Argent Data Systems has been engineering designs since long before the Hyperion hoop was designed. Since they already had a large scale production shop set up, it seems that large scale production of complicated hoop technology has been less of an uphill battle for them than perhaps it was for Spin-FX. They have made sure to take notes of the best features from Spin-FX, however! The Phoenix hoop remains light-weight and perfectly balanced with an internal set of batteries.





With the ability to upload thousands of custom patterns and customize preset patterns, it's easy to see why the Phoenix hoop is still one of the most loved smart hoops. It also comes with two separate remotes, allowing for easy synchronization between different Phoenix hoops. However, the most exciting feature of the Phoenix (and other Hyperion hoops) is that it features a two-year warranty! Not that you'll ever need to use it with your fault-tolerant LEDs.
